Deen Gumerson

Managing Member

Deen Gumerson born and raised in Oklahoma he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics at The University of Arizona in 2000. Combined he has 19 years experience in the Payroll HCM field. The first half of those years being on the sales end and the second half on the operations end. This has provided Deen with a unique skill set. He prides himself on setting up proper expectations with new and existing clients and cares greatly about exceeding those expectations every time. If Deen ever finds an opportunity to duck out you know where to find him. At the lake with

Billy Jackson

HCM Consultant

Billy Jackson joined the AmCheck team in 2012. He currently resides in San Diego, CA, where he served for six years with the US Navy & completed his bachelor’s degree at San Diego State in 2011. Billy is a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), with 12 years’ experience in the Payroll HCM field. His focus is on improving the HR, Benefits & Technology user experience. If it can be automated, he will find a way! Billy enjoys being outdoors with his two daughters and loves experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes or craft beverages. Cheers!

Christy Maioli

Operations Manager

Christy achieved her Human Resources Management Certification from the University of California Irvine. She is SHRM Certified as well as a CPP Certified Payroll Professional. She joined the AmCheck team in 2010. As the Operations Manager of the AmCheck Las Vegas office for over a decade, Christy has an intense appreciation for the value of building a strong team. She often uses the phrase “GO TEAM” in staff communications as a reminder that we are all working towards the same goals… together.

Ryan Bormann

Senior Sales Executive

Ryan Bormann joined the AmCheck Las Vegas team as the Senior Sales Executive in 2017. He has been in the Payroll HCM industry for over 9 years and has more than 15 years of business development experience. Ryan takes a consultative approach with each new AmCheck client to ensure they receive the products and services they need, and none that they don’t. When Ryan isn’t at the office or in the field, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. On the weekends you may even catch him on the golf course if his wife allows it.

Kevin Pipsair

Implementation Specialist

Kevin Pipsair has a combined 22 years of experience in the third-party payroll industry, the last 9 of which as an AmCheck Implementation specialist. He prides himself on being a diverse employee who assists all clients new and existing with their HRIS system needs. Kevin lives and works remotely in Dallas, Texas, where he enjoys his dogs, friends, a good patio and too much Tex Mex.

Maria Zepeda

Benefits Specialist

Maria Zepeda has specialized in HRIS benefits solutions since 2017. With exceptional customer service in both English and Spanish, she takes pride in being able to provide her clients with a great experience during open enrollments and benefit renewals. Maria strives to create and maintain a positive relationship with her clients to ensure the success of both parties. She was born in sunny Los Angeles and raised in Las Vegas. She enjoys weekend barbecues with her family, movie watching, and taking spontaneous road trips with her husband.

Jessica Rosa

Payroll Account Director

Jessica Rosa joined AmCheck in early 2021. She holds a FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) with 7 years of experience working in construction software to include accounting and certified payroll, her ability to wrap her head around HR systems is invaluable to the AmCheck team. Jessica grew up in Rhode Island and is currently pursuing a second Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. When she isn’t in a spreadsheet, Jessica helps out with the Las Vegas Animal Foundation and currently cares for 3 foster cats.

Amanda DeCorso

Payroll Account Director

Amanda DeCorso is a New Jersey native who joined the AmCheck team in 2021. Her 14 years of payroll experience working across various industries have allowed her to embrace the importance of customer service and client relations. She continually strives to maintain the highest levels of customer service while making the client her #1 priority.  She often develops lasting relationships with her clients based on understanding and adjusting to each client’s specific needs.  When she is not working with her clients you can find her planning her next adventure with her husband and daughter. Together they enjoy travel, attending local sporting events, spending time outdoors, and completing DIY projects at home.

Chloee Lynne

Payroll Support Administrator

Chloee joined the AmCheck team in the summer of 2022 as our Payroll Support Administrator. She took her interest in payroll and studied diligently to expand her knowledge, successfully achieving her FPC Fundamental Payroll Certification in the Spring of 2023. She has used that foundation to grow her skill set and serve AmCheck clients all while continuing to support the payroll team. In her free time, she enjoys reading suspense novels, and hanging out with her loved ones.

Czarina Miller

Payroll Account Director

Czarina joined the Amcheck team in the Spring of 2023. Czarina grew up in the Philippines and recently moved to Nevada. Czarina holds a FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certificate) as well as a degree in Finance and has 4 years of experience in HR Shared Services. Her goal is to consistently provide exemplary client service and establish lasting relationship with clients and co-workers alike. When she’s not at work, she tries to explore places, food, and discover the hidden gems around the city.

Michelle Joined AmCheck in the Fall of 2023, bringing over 7 years of expertise to the team. She combines a client focused approach with a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys spending time with her cats, collecting pins, and exploring new places to go hiking.

Uday Hansra

Sales Executive

Uday Hansra joined AmCheck in 2023. Originally from Walnut Creek, CA, he relocated to Las Vegas to attend UNLV graduating with a Bachelors in Hospitality & Business Management. Having a passion for sales & problem-solving, he found his home in the Payroll HCM industry. Uday is dedicated to fostering new client relationships and has a knack for driving business growth. He collaborates closely with clients to understand their unique needs & challenges. In his spare time, he likes spending time with friends, family & attending sporting events.
